Reimagining Margaret-Orthodox (RMO) initiative – a five-year development strategy, grounded in community engagement and neighborhood planning (Reimagine), to transform Frankford Avenue around Septa’s Arrott Station. RMO included improvements to vacant buildings and parcels, facade improvements, and streetscape improvements (Reclaim). The Frankford CDC’s goal was to start to change people’s perception of the neighborhood and restore people’s sense of place and pride in Frankford (Rediscover). Through RMO, FCDC was able to complete a full renovation of the Daral Building, the installation of the demonstration and permanent phase of Frankford Pause Park, two mixed-use affordable housing projects, five facade improvements; and some streetscape improvements.
